A British man who fell from a 192-metre-high bridge in Spain while reportedly creating content for social media died from head injuries, a court has heard.
Lewis Stevenson, 26, died on 13 October after he fell from the Castilla-La Mancha bridge, near the central city of Talavera de la Reina.
The cable-stayed bridge is the tallest in Spain and spans the Tagus River.
Assistant coroner Sabyta Kaushal opened the inquest into his death in the coroner's court in Derby, where he was from.
She said the cause of Mr Stevenson's death has been recorded as "blunt force head injuries" after an "uncontrolled descent from height".
The inquest was adjourned to allow for further investigations to take place.

Mr Stevenson, a graphics and print designer, climbed the bridge to "create content for social networks", Macarena Munoz, the city's councillor for citizen security, said.
She said the fall was an "unfortunate and sad outcome", but added that climbing the bridge "is totally prohibited" and this had been "reiterated on many occasions".
