Tom Jones cancels a second gig in a row after being hospitalised with a bacterial infection

The 78-year-old explained the situation to disappointed fans on Twitter.
Sir Tom Jones has postponed a second concert in two nights after being hospitalised with a bacterial infection.
He tweeted that he is "sorry and disappointed", but is hoping for a "speedy recovery".
The singer was due to perform at Chester Racecourse tonight (July 19) before heading to Germany and Finland and then back to the UK for more shows next month.
"This show will be rescheduled for Sunday 12th August. All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date," a statement said.

"Sir Tom Jones has a bacterial infection for which he is being treated in hospital. The condition is being well managed and we are hoping for a speedy recovery.
"He is extremely sorry and disappointed not to be able to perform tonight, and sincerely apologises for inconveniences caused to the audience and all those who are involved in the event."
Yesterday (July 18), Tom cancelled his concert at Stansted Park just a few hours before he was due on stage, after seeking medical advice.
Fans with tickets can get full refunds, with the singer's team apologising for any inconvenience.
