It is the third gig that the Welsh legend has been forced to cancel this week.
Sir Tom Jones was scheduled to perform at Belvoir Castle on Sunday (July 22), as part of a tour of stately homes and historic locations around the UK.
However, a spokesman at Belvoir Castle confirmed on Facebook: "It is with regret that Cuffe & Taylor have to cancel Tom Jones’ performance at Belvoir Castle on Sunday 22nd July.
"Sir Tom Jones has a bacterial infection for which he is being treated in hospital. The condition is being well managed and we are hoping for a speedy recovery. He is extremely sorry and disappointed not to be able to perform, and sincerely apologises for inconveniences caused to the audience and all those who are involved in the event.

"All ticket holders will receive a full refund by contacting their point of purchase."
Sir Tom has already cancelled two concerts earlier this week, after being rushed to hospital with a bacterial infection.
The 78-year-old singer posted an apology to his disappointed fans on social media, saying that it is the "worst feeling" to let people down.
