Tim McGraw has turned to classic '80s pop for this new single, and we're loving it.
The country legend has decided to release a cover of The Cars' classic hit 'Drive', bringing a totally new take on the power ballad.

Tim McGraw - Drive (Audio)
“Drive was one we covered in bars back in the day and it still reminds me of high school,” Tim wrote on Twitter, adding “@thecarsband made such killer sounding records!”.
“I love finding cover songs for my albums,” he later wrote.
“We’ve done [Eddie Rabbitt’s] ‘Suspicions,’ [Elton John’s] ‘Tiny Dancer,’ [and Ryan Adams’] ‘Stars Go Blue.’”
“For the next album,” he continued, “I really wanted to find something cool and unique. ‘Drive’ was one we covered in bars back in the day, and it still reminds me of high school.”
Tim's version of 'Drive' is a faithful adaptation of the original hit, complete with synth sounds, but with Tim's brand of country balladry.
The song is the latest track from his upcoming newa album, following his recent top 20 hits 'Neon Church' and 'Thought About You'.
Last week, Tim showed off his daughter Gracie's impressive vocals on a Barbra Streisand duet during a road trip, and we're fully expecting her to follow in her famous parent's footsteps.
