The first trailer for the upcoming Elton John biopic has been unveiled, and it looks rather stunning.

Taron Egerton plays the legendary singer-songwriter in Rocketman, and this first trailer gives us a first glimpse about what to expect from the unconventional biopic.

The trailer sees Elton throughout his life and career, including his childhood and battles with his own personal demons.

“There are moments in a rockstar’s life that define who he is”, a voiceover says.

We also see Egerton performing live as Elton for the first time, singing the classic title track 'Rocket Man'.

The film will also star Jamie Bell as Elton’s songwriting partner Bernie Taupin.

The latest teaser clip released on the Rocketman twitter page shows how the young singer-songwriter reinvented himself, transforming from being Reginald Dwight to Elton John.
