Tribute acts can be a mixed bag, but Rob Lamberti is one of the best in the business.
George will honour the music of George Michael, from his days in Wham! to his many iconic solo hits.
After a successful tour earlier this year, a new live show will see Rob Lamberti joined by the world-renowned National Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, as well as original members of the George Michael Band.
The tour will launch in Glasgow on May 1, 2020, and will then take in various concert halls and theatres before concluding in Manchester on May 12.
The show will feature all of George's biggest hits from 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go' to 'Careless Whisper' to 'Faith', and promises to be the best possible tribute to George Michael.
You may have seen Rob Lamberti on TV before, as he showed off his impressive George Michael tribute act on Even Better than the Real Thing in 2017 (watch a clip above).
Joining Rob on the tour will be two of George Michael’s long-time band members: David Baptiste and Carlos Hercules. Saxophone player David Baptiste played with George since his Wham! days, while Carlos Hercules performed as the drummer in George’s band for several years.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday (October 4).
