Sir Paul McCartney is back!
The Beatles legend has announced his first shows in the UK since 2015, including his first Scottish concert in almost a decade.
The Freshen Up tour will also be Paul’s first shows following the release of his brand new album, Egypt Station, which is out on September 7.
“There’s nothing like performing in front of your home crowd, especially when it’s been a while," he said.
"I can’t wait to finish the year on such a high by partying in Liverpool, Glasgow and London. We’ve freshened up the show since our last time round and we are excited to get to play some of our new songs alongside some of the favourites.”
Tickets for the tour go on sale on July 16. You can purchase tickets here.
The full tour dates and venues are:
- Wednesday December 12 – Echo Arena – Liverpool
- Friday December 14 – SSE Hydro – Glasgow
- Sunday December 16 – O2 – London
