Michael? Can you hear us?
Michael Bolton appeared to drift off into a lovely snooze while being interviewed on live Australian TV.
On Tuesday (February 5), the Grammy-winning singer appeared on The Morning Show ahead of the release of his latest 50th-anniversary album, A Symphony of Hits.
However, he experienced some sound difficulties — and appeared to be falling asleep — during the live interview.
The 65-year-old didn't respond to the hosts, and and seemed to shut his eyes.
I got my first record deal when I was 15 and I haven’t slept since!! In all seriousness there were technical issues with the live feed and they caught me tweeting! We had a great interview once they fixed the glitch. #FakeNews #50thAnniversary #SymphonyOfHits pic.twitter.com/xE3aV7GelL

“Maybe he’s just updating Instagram,” joked host Larry Emdur, followed by an awkward silence. “What time is it in Florida?” co-host Kylie Gillies asked. “Cocktail time,” Emdur joked back.
When they were able to get the connection working, Michael said: “I can hear you perfectly,” before Emdur pumped his fist in triumph.
Later on, Michael clarified that he wasn't actually sleeping, but was tweeting.
“I got my first record deal when I was 15 and I haven’t slept since!!” Bolton joked.
“In all seriousness there were technical issues with the live feed and they caught me tweeting!” he added. “We had a great interview once they fixed the glitch. #FakeNews"
