The John Lewis Christmas advert has become one of the staples of the big festive lead-up in recent years.

When will the John Lewis Christmas advert be released?
Monty the Penguin (2014) and Man on the Moon (2015) were both released on November 6.
Buster the Boxer (2016) and Moz the Monster (2017) arrived on November 10.
Last year's Christmas advert was released on Friday, November 15.
For 2019, it has been predicted that the advert will land on Thursday, November 14, after a teaser was posted on Twitter that fans have speculated is for this year's John Lewis promo.
An account named Excitable Edgar has been created on Twitter, along with a 10-second video snippet saying: "Meet Edgar. 14.11.19 #ExcitableEdgar".
The clip showed a gargoyle door knocker, and someone knocking before entering a wooden door.

Who will sing on the John Lewis Christmas advert 2019?
The odds for this year's Christmas advert suggest it could be Lewis Capaldi who will record a song for the commercial.
Having just scored his first number one in America, the Scottish singer spent several weeks at the top of the UK charts and has a huge following.
According to betting site Betway, the 23-year-old is the firm favourite ahead of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
