The queen of country is coming to take over TV...
Netflix has commissioned an eight-episode anthology based on Dolly Parton's most famous songs.
The currently-untitled show will see each episode based on a song by the country icon, and will arrive in 2019.
Dolly will work with Netflix as singer-songwriter, executive producer and will also appear in the series itself.
"As a songwriter, I have always enjoyed telling stories through my music," she said.
"I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favourite songs to life with Netflix.
"We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros TV for their incredible support."
The series follows recent one-off TV movies based on Dolly songs, which aired on NBC in the US. Coat of Many Colours and its sequel Circle of Love were based on her famous hits, but a planned third film based on 'Jolene' was axed.
We're predicting episodes for 'Jolene', 'I Will Always Love You' and 'Islands in the Stream'!
