The Masked Singer is most definitely the biggest new show on TV right now, on both sides of the Atlantic.
After a hugely successful UK debut this year, a third season of the American version is very much underway, and there's already been pop royalty taking part.
A truly iconic artist was unveiled as the latest celebrity taking part this week in the US, as Dionne Warwick was revealed to be under the Mouse costume.
The 79-year-old six-time Grammy Award-winning legend was unmasked on last night’s show (February 26), following skateboarding pro Tony Hawk’s exit.
Judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger and Nick Cannon correctly guessed it was Dionne underneath the costume, with the soul queen saying: "It’s been an absolute pleasure. I had the best time. It was a ball."
"It’s an honour to have you on the show, thank you so much for being here," Nicole said.
Dionne continued: "I think it’s wonderful when you can be anonymous. I knew somebody up there was going to be able to guess me. I do have a very distinctive voice.
"Anyone that knows me – as Nicole happens to know me – I’m certain that she knew me immediately that it wasn’t Darlene Love, it was Dionne Warwick."
The first UK series of The Masked Singer crowned Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts the winner, beating comedian Jason Manford and opera singer Katherine Jenkins in the final.
