Delighted Sheridan Smith thanks fans after birth of first child at the weekend

Sheridan Smith has made a sweet announcement to her fans, after the birth of a baby boy.
The 38-year-old Cilla actress gave birth to her first child on Saturday (May 9, 2020) with fiancé Jamie Horn.
The pair said they were thrilled with the messages from well wishers and that they "mean the world."

Taking to her Twitter account the Sheridan said: "I’d just like to say thank you so much! We have been so touched by all your lovely messages about the birth of our son.

The message comes after the pair shared the first photo of their child the day before.

Taking to her official Instagram page, Sheridan and Jamie shared a picture of their baby's tiny hand and ear with the caption: "Our little man had arrived! We are both completely overwhelmed with love."
Jamie and Sheridan are believed to be at their shared home in North London where the pair have lived since the beginning of their romance.
30-year-old insurance broker, Jamie, proposed to Sheridan with a £10,000 ring last year, three months after meeting on dating app Tinder.
The Gavin and Stacey star has previously said she felt "lucky" to be pregnant during the coronavirus pandemic as it has given Jamie and her something to focus on during such a strange time.
