Prince William galloping in the royal box is the highlight of our day

We always hate it when you go to a stand-up gig, and the comedian starts interacting with the audience.
We sit there all awkwardly, praying to the comedy gods that they don't pick on us and make us feel stupid.
Well, Miranda Hart had no qualms with doing just that with the future king at the Royal Variety Performance. She even made Prince William gallop in the royal box, as you do.
The Duchess of Cambridge was seen giggling as William took part in a comedy skit, which saw him shout out Miranda's catchphrase "such fun".
Following a performance by the cast of Annie, Miranda asked one of the young stars to ask William for their own request, with the Prince galloping at her command.
Celebrating the show on stage afterwards, Miranda said she thought the Duke had been a good sport. She said: "I did apologise to him at the end and he said he'd practice his galloping. I thought he was wonderful in joining in. I forgot to get him to knight me with a lightsaber but maybe another time."
The Duke and Duchess attended the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, along with Laurie Mansfield, life president and executive producer of the Royal Variety Charity, and Giles Cooper, chairman and executive producer.
