There's a new trailer for Mamma Mia 2 and it's got us beyond excited
The trailer reveals more about Meryl Streep's character's past, but will there be a large plot twist...?
In December, our anticipation became a reality when the first trailer for Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again was released.
It confirmed Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried and co are all back for round two, with the addition of Lily James as a young Donna back when she was pregnant with her daughter, plus the one and only Cher as Donna's mother!
The trailer also confirmed Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is pregnant and that the film will delve into her mum Donna's past.

However, one very important thing was missing - there was no real sign of Meryl Streep. Everyone was talking about her in the past tense and she was nowhere to be seen in the clips in the present, only the past, leading fans to fear she has been killed off.

The good news is Meryl IS confirmed to be in the cast (as seen in Judy Craymer's Instagrams below) and has been spotted on set. However, what we don't know for sure yet is if she's only appearing in flashbacks because she really has been killed off.
