The soap star is swapping the cobbles for cobwebs as he heads to the Aussie jungle.
Andrew Whyment is best known as Coronation Street's Kirk Sutherland – a role he's played for the past 19 years.
He's also previously starred in the Royle Family as the character Darren Sinclair-Jones.
Now he's heading to the Australian jungle to take part in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! – but it won't be the first reality programme Andrew's competed in. He's previously appeared in the reality singing competition Soapstar Superstar and Dancing on Ice.
Here's all the key facts about the actor:
Andrew trained at the Laine Johnson Theatre School in Salford, before extending his education with a BTEC in Performing Arts at the Salford College of Further Education.
Since then he's starred in a range of TV shows, and his first credited role was in Cracker, a British crime drama series in 1993.
He went on to have minor roles in The Cops, Heartbeat and Where the Heart Is – but he's most recognised for starring in The Royle Family and Coronation Street.
Andrew married long-term girlfriend Nicola Willis back in 2007, and the pair now have two children together, Thomas and Hollie.
The family currently live in Atherton, Greater Manchester.
Andrew was born on 2 April 1981, making him 38 years old.
