Never in our wildest dreams did we think Cher would join the cast of Mamma Mia 2, but it's happening.
Pop legend Cher is currently in the UK filming the follow-up to the ABBA musical movie, which is set to be released next summer.
Confirming the news on Twitter, she wrote: "Well... I'm in Momma Mia 2 [sic]."
However, it is currently not known what role she will play in the movie, which is fully titled Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!
While Cher did not give any more details about her character, she did at least tweet the word 'Fernando', hinting that she will be singing the classic ABBA tune. We can only hope.

The 71-year-old also confirmed she had been rehearsing a few dance routines, adding: "Just went through two dance numbers, everyone's great."
Cher has starred in a number of movies during her illustrious career, including Mermaids, Burlesque and Moonstruck, for which she won a Best Actress Oscar in 1988.
Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and others will all be back for the sequel, with Lily James joining the cast as a younget version of Streep's character Donna.
ABBA's Benny Andersson recently told Smooth Radio that 'Dancing Queen' will be among the songs to appear in the sequel. Watch his interview below:
