Britain's Got Talent winner Colin Thackery has become the oldest person in the world to sign a debut solo album deal.
The Chelsea Pensioner became the oldest winner of Britain's Got Talent earlier this year and has now signed a deal.
Colin has signed to Decca Records, with artists including Dame Vera Lynn also on their books.
The 89-year-old performed a rendition of Dame Vera's classic hit 'We'll Meet Again' during the ITV series.
Colin said it was "a surprise and an honour and completely unexpected" to sign the deal with Decca.
This deal will be a collaboration between Decca and Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment.
Signing his deal, he continued: "I would like to thank my family for their continued support and to the crew of Britain's Got Talent for looking after me."
BGT boss Simon said he "could not be more thrilled" that Colin had signed to the same label as 102-year-old Dame Vera.
Simon said: "I could not be more thrilled that Colin, who won Britain’s Got Talent this year, has signed to the same label as Dame Vera Lynn. Colin is an inspiration to us all."
Rebecca Allen, president of Decca, said: "It feels so incredibly fitting that Colin should sign to Decca, in its 90th Anniversary year.
"The fact that Decca’s success started the year Colin was born, feels quite magical. He’s a unique artist and we are extremely proud to welcome him into our family."
Colin is due to release his first studio album next month after an average of 8.5 million people watched the singer win the talent show.
The album will include classics including 'Love Changes Everything', 'We'll Meet Again' and 'Wind Beneath My Wings'.
Colin's debut album will be available on August 30.
