His high school sweetheart Levi recently gave birth to a little girl, who they've named Lydia-Rose Bain.
Alex's fatherhood has arrived just weeks after he and Levi sat their GCSE exams.
The young couple have been dating since April 2017, and have posted images about the parenting journey on social media in recent weeks.

He denied split rumours in July last year, and confirmed the baby news by announcing: “I’m still with my girlfriend, and can’t wait to have my own little family!”
A source told The Sun: "They are absolutely over the moon — it’s the greatest gift they could have hoped for this Christmas."
Alex has played Ken Barlow's grandson in Coronation Street for 10 years, joining the soap at the age of seven. In 2011, he won 'Best Young Performance' at the British Soap Awards and has since been nominated four more times.
