Graeme Swann is one of England's finest and most popular cricketers over the past 30 years.

He won a legion of new fans thanks to his appearance in Strictly Come Dancing, and here are all the big facts about him:

1. Who is Graeme Swann?

   

   Graeme Swann is a former English cricketer.

   He was mainly a right-arm offspinner, and played for his home county Northamptonshire from 1997, before moving to Nottinghamshire in 2005.

   He also played for England from 2000 to 2013.

2. When did he retire from cricket?

   After an old elbow injury prevented him from joining England on the tour of New Zealand in March 2013, and undergoing surgery, Swann eventually returned to the side when New Zealand toured England in May and June 2013.

   On December 21 2013, Swann announced his retirement from all cricket with immediate effect.

3. Graeme Swann wife and children: How big is his family?

   

   Graeme Swann married his wife Sarah in January 2010.

   They live in Nottingham with their two children, Wilfred (born 2011) and Charlotte (born 2012).
