Known as the 'Prince of Soul', Marvin Gaye was one of the greatest soul singers of all time. He recorded some of Motown's most iconic songs, with his music ranging from heartfelt love songs to socially-conscious protest tracks. After a big comeback in the early 1980s, he was tragically killed by his own father in 1984.
