Elton John adds SEVENTH 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' UK tour date at London's O2

Sir Elton John has announced an extra UK date of his massive Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour.

The legendary singer will now also perform an extra show at London's O2 on December 2, his seventh in the capital in total.

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10am on Friday (July 5).

Kicking off with two dates at London's The O2 in November next year, the tour will then head to Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Leeds.

Elton said of the shows: “The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will take us to many places that have meant a lot to me over the last fifty years, but these UK shows will be incredibly special.

"The UK is home, and where my heart will always be. To celebrate some of the incredible moments we’ve shared with my British fans over the years will be wonderful. These homecoming shows will be very emotional, and a lot of fun.”

Elton launched his farewell tour in the US in September, and has already been met with acclaim from audiences and critics alike. The three-year tour will feature over 300 shows across five continents, before finally ending in 2021.
