Adele has shared a rare photo of her new look as she celebrated her 32nd birthday in lockdown.
The singer’s message of support thanked fans for sending birthday wishes, as she hoped all her followers were “staying safe and sane”.
Adele wrote: “Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time.
“I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives!
“You are truly our angels. 2020 okay bye thanks x.”
The post, which is her first since Christmas, began trending worldwide after she shared it to her 33.8 million instagram followers.
Adele also became the number one trend on Twitter, despite not posting the photo to her Twitter account.
The picture shows the happy star standing behind a giant floral wreath while outside, with a laptop also in shot.
The singer has been quiet on social media for the last few months, since she reportedly lost three stone due to a new healthy lifestyle.

Adele was expected to release her fourth album towards the end of 2020, but her new album release is now expected to be pushed back to 2021.
Fans are beginning to doubt the release after Adele commented on an Instagram Live battle between music producers Babyface and Teddy Riley.
Commenting on a technical hitch in the comment section, Adele wrote: “Come on, it’s 2020 – we ain’t meant to get what we want!”
