Prince Harry has taken on a totally new role in his new era of dropping royal duties: he's taking on the charts. Yes, really.

Harry has visited Abbey Road Studios, where he and rock legend Jon Bon Jovi are recording a charity single for his Invictus Games Foundation.

A short clip has been shared of the two singing inside the studio on the Duke of Sussex's Instagram page.

Harry returned to the UK from Canada to start a series of royal engagements, which will probably be his last before he stops his royal duties on March 31.

Watch the clip above.

Jon and Harry met each other with a handshake outside the famous studio, before being show inside to the control room overlooking Studio 2 – where The Beatles famously recorded back in the 1960s.

The single will be in aid of the Invictus Games Foundation, which oversees the development of the Invictus Games, the multi-sport event for injured or sick military personnel founded by Harry.

The song 'Unbroken' was created by Jon Bon Jovi to raise awareness for veterans living with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and to honour their service.
